Inland Tour: Lighthouse and Bakwitan Cave, Gigantes North

From my previous blogs about my IloIlo trip, I talked about the tour package we availed prior our visit and what were the inclusions on it like two-way boat transfer from Estancia port to Gigantes Island, 1 Day island hopping, and lastly the Inland tour.

And on this blog, I’ll share our inland tour experience or the side trip we did while in Gigantes Island which covers the Gigantes North Island Lighthouse and Bakwitan Cave located in Gigantes North.

Island Hopping in Gigantes Island, IloIlo Philippines

I was able to visit another tourist spot which is a very famous perfect postcard shot you usually see online, located in the northern part of Iloilo Philippines, The Gigantes Island.

Gigantes Island (or Isla de Gigantes) is a group of islands composed of - ‘Norte’ and ‘Sur’, the two major island groups. In ‘Norte’, it has mostly the resorts and it is much more developed. While in ‘Sur’, it is where you will experience pristine beaches and more awesome places or views.

Caramoan Island, Camarines Sur ~ Day 2

This is part two of my blog post Caramoan Island, Camarines Sur. On our second day, we visited Manlawi Sandbar beach, Bugtong sandbar, Soledad Island, Bag-ing beach/Sabitang Laya, and Our Lady of Peace Monument.

Our island hopping for day two started early. Our tour guide told us that most of the islands that we are going to visit will take longer travel time than we had on our first day, so we needed to get up early that day.
We headed again to Bikal port which is the jump off site to start our second day of island hopping.
