Awesome Escape at Cabongaoan Beach, Burgos Pangasinan

This is one of my adventure trips that I will never forget because of the wonderful place, the people I bonded with, and one unique event that I don't experience on the usual trips I’ve joined in.  “Unique event” – This adventure trip by Dong Ho Eskapo gave us an exciting challenge by not revealing our destination. All we knew is the itinerary, the things to bring, and it would be a beach place. But we really don’t know the exact place where going to, it may be on the Southern or Northern part of the Philippines, we don’t have any idea. Well, as an adventurer this would be a unique experience that’s why without a doubt I absolutely said Yes!

The trip was long and we already got an idea where we were heading as we were driving in the Northern part. We were almost 30 in the group, and actually I don’t know almost all of them. But good thing that while on the road and during stop over, we were already starting the activities, so every now and then we were able to get to know each other, already having fun and at the same time feeling the excitement.

Our destination – Cabongaoan Beach at Bgy. Ilio-Ilio, Burgos in the Western part of Pangasinan.

Aside from Hundred Islands and the famous beaches in Bolinao, there is a hidden beach paradise which is not yet well known to others or not yet highly commercialized (which means not crowded) place in Pangasinan.

I was really surprised that there is still a place like this in Pangasinan. Not yet crowded, very pure, and clean. Kudos to the organizer who discovered this place!

Cabo Beach is a long stretch white sand beach. You can setup your tent wherever you want. They have a lot of spaces. They also have cottages and rooms that you can rent but it is limited.

The beach is very pure with soft golden and white sand, blue sea water, beautiful waves, and refreshing wind.

From the long stretch of the beach, you can walk along the shore and discover rock formations with
its scenic views.

And for the sunrise and sunset lovers out there, this is also the perfect place to be.

I didn’t just enjoy this wonderful place, but I also had a fun experience with the people I just met in the group.

Group shot! the group who accepted the amazing challenge

We ate together. Played fun games and activities. Swam together. And many more bonding moments.

By the way, the resort we stayed in is called Roven’s Place Picnic Area and Camping Site. ‘Roven’ – from the name of the owners, ‘Kuya Ronald’ and ‘Ate Venus’. Both of them are very kind and very accommodating as well as the other people who are taking care of the place. They are the ones who helped in cooking our very delicious meals, and they are very easy to talk with.

On the whole, it is indeed a very enjoyable extraordinary experience travel adventure. I am glad that I have been part of this group and no regrets that I accepted the challenge. I hope there will be another event like this so you could experience it too.

And as for the Cabo beach, I hope the purity, cleanliness, and serenity of the place will be maintained forever.

    1. Hi Rhemelyn,

If plan niyo magpaluto, yes need niyo muna mamalengke. Then pagdating dun sila na bahala sa luto.

For me, mas ok na pa luto na lang kayo. Mas relax yung trip. Very accommodating naman owners ng Roven's place. And masrap talaga luto nila. I can assure you that. hehe.

Also, try to contact them first to know more details and para ready sila sa pagdating niyo :) (Contact detail is up on my blog).

Thanks po for visiting! Enjoy your trip!! :)
