Since my elementary days, I've been introduced on one of the
waterfalls in the island of Mindanao that is well known for its natural beauty
and also the primary source of electric power in the city. From Filipino textbooks, lecture of our
teachers, educational shows, etc., the Maria Cristina Falls is one of the favorites to be mention of or be proud of.

Noodle Invasion: Ramen Nagi @ SM Aura
Ever wonder how Japanese noodle dishes or ramen as they are
called just boomed here in Manila. It was 2013 when there are Japanese chains opening up restaurants all over the metro. And everyone’s been crazy about it. Well, the
Philippines is undeniably a “Chinese mami” country, we all loved and grew up
eating a quick-cooking noodles in a bowl. And it’s not far from what Japanese
had brought here, which has more different flavours and more different styles. Ramen
is made of Chinese-style wheat noodles, typically served in a meat or fish-based
broth, flavoured with soy sauce and uses toppings.

STK Ta Bay! sa Paolito's Seafood, Cebu City
One thing that Filipinos really love is Food. Do you agree?
That’s why for those who travel just like me; it’s the one thing that we look
forward to when we visit different places. And recently, I had my vacation in
Cebu which aside from their wonderful tourist spots, genuine people, I also
keep coming back because of their great dishes.
We all know that when people talk about famous Cebu
foodstuff, one thing that pops to their mind is ‘Cebu Lechon’, am I right? But
aside from it, Cebu is also known for their seafood dishes which they have
named it uniquely as ‘Sutukil’ or ‘STK’ that stands for SUgba, Tinola, and KILawin.
I have been to Cebu three times already, and I have observed that most of their
restaurants or eateries offer this kind of dishes. And from all the dishes that
I have tasted, I think I have found already the perfect place to make our seafood
cravings fulfilled.

This is part two of my blog post Caramoan Island, Camarines Sur. On our second day, we visited Manlawi Sandbar beach, Bugtong sandbar, Soledad Island, Bag-ing beach/Sabitang Laya, and Our Lady of Peace Monument.
Our island hopping for day two started early. Our tour guide told us that most of the islands that we are going to visit will take longer travel time than we had on our first day, so we needed to get up early that day.
We headed again to Bikal port which is the jump off site to start our second day of island hopping.

Are you a fan of the hit reality TV show in the US, 'Survivor' ?
Just two years ago, two consecutive seasons of the show -25th and 26th
season were shot at Caramoan Island in Camarines Sur Philippines. I was able to
watch some of its episode and was amazed on the beauty of the island. From then
on, I have listed this place on my bucket list. And that’s why I was so excited
when my friends were able to plan on this trip, because I will be able to tick off another item on my travel bucket
list! J

Are you a fan of the hit reality TV show in the US, 'Survivor' ? Just two years ago, two consecutive seasons of the show -25th and 26th season were shot at Caramoan Island in Camarines Sur Philippines. It has now become the favorite location site of the producers of the said TV series. French and Israel Survivor TV shows have also chosen Caramoan Island as their venue.
Caramoan Island is a first-class municipality located in the lower eastern part of Camarines Sur in Bicol Region, Philippines. It is surrounded with limestone cliffs, beautiful white sand, and crystal clear water. It was my birthday and I planned to treat
my family on a dinner and then asked them on where they wanted to eat. Then
they have suggested a new food outlet in Katipunan Avenue, Quezon City -- which
is the UP Town Center. They said there are almost twenty two restaurants to
choose from on that place that’s why I decided to try it out.
UP Town Center is another property of Ayala
Land Inc. and it is now the country’s first university town center which
consists of top retail stores, offices, restaurants, and services. You can find
the place along Katipunan Avenue in Quezon City which is near UP Diliman,
Miriam College, and Ateneo de Manila campuses. That’s why there are also academic
support facilities in here to promote a close collaboration between the
students, workers, and residents in the area. There are remaining developments
to look forward to this place like supermarket, theater, game arcade, etc.

I was looking through old pictures in my laptop and found my ‘Coron Palawan’ album. And I suddenly missed going on a trip like this with friends. It was one of the days where we just had fun, gone far away from the busy cities, and just appreciated the beauty of nature in the Philippines.
Coron Island Palawan is a wedge-shaped limestone island, with few of its coastal areas being covered by mangrove forests. It has seven lakes, famous of which is the nationally-acclaimed cleanest lake in the Philippines, the Kayangan Lake. It also has a number of islands with white beaches and clear blue waters perfect for snorkeling, deepsea fishing and shipwreck diving. (http://www.coronphilippines.com/)

Climb: Mt. Gulugod Baboy, Anilao Mabini Batangas
Mt. Gulugod Baboy - my second hiking experience in my whole life, first for this year, and definitely would not be my last. My first hike was in Mt. Pico De Loro in Maragondon Cavite, and my experience there was really awesome that made me now a mountain climbing enthusiast. And so when I was invited for a climb in Gulugod Baboy, I said yes without hesitation and just felt the excitement!

‘Nostalgic’ – one word that comes to my mind when you say Vigan, Ilocos. I’ve been wanting to visit the place as I am really a fan of old houses and ancient structures, also I've been hearing how beautiful it is.
Vigan, the
capital city of Ilocos Sur is the world heritage site that it is one of the
few Hispanic towns left in the Philippines and it is known for its cobblestone
streets and unique architecture, which is a Spanish colonial architecture. The
term Vigan referred the area as ‘Bee Gan’ by the Chinese settlers which means
the ‘Beautiful shore’. Then Spanish conquistadors interchanged V and B, which
is the name, used to this day as Vigan.

One of the famous places that we visited on our Ilocos adventure
is the Paoay Sand Dunes, that obviously my favorite part of our entire trip
because I made a separate post for this one.
Paoay Sand Dunes is located in Paoay at the north of Ilocos. It is
a huge stretch of dunes or hill of sands where you can go on a 4x4 off road
challenge or go sand boarding if you want to get down and dirty. And this place
is not only popular for those sports adventures but also been the location for
film makers. Movies like Panday, Temptation Island, and Himala were shot in here.

October last year, I was looking for a place that is out of the ordinary, food trip that would perfectly fit my
budget, and one that I can practice my photography skills.
And Pan De Amerikana is the exact place I was looking for. I've heard and read already good reviews about this place but I just don't have any chances on visiting it even though it is just near our home in Quezon City. And so when I had my free time on a weekend, I grabbed my chance right away.

So my boyfriend and I being spontaneous on our weekend trip, we searched on how we can get there, checked the reviews about the place, and then visited right away.
